Windows on Williams is a selective, fully-funded program open to high school students in the U.S. and Puerto Rico who will be seniors in the Fall of 2025. Preference is given to high-achieving students who couldn’t otherwise afford to visit Williams.

This year's WOW dates are September 28-30. We recognize these dates may not work for any number of reasons, including school commitments or other conflicts. If you're interested in learning more about Williams outside of WOW, you can do so here.

The deadline to apply for WOW is Friday, August 1. There are two ways to apply: 

1) Complete the full WOW application below. You’ll need:

• Approximately 30 minutes to respond to brief questions about yourself, your family, and your school (you cannot save the form and return to it later)
• A copy of your high school transcript that includes all courses and grades from 9th through the end of 11th grade (screenshots or pictures of your transcript are accepted)
• An essay that you submitted for an English or social science class during the 2024-2025 academic school year; if you do not have an essay that meets our requirements, you may respond to one of the prompts included in the application below

2) If you have applied to the QuestBridge College Prep Scholars (CPS) program, you can use that application instead. If you indicate this preference below, we will request your application from QuestBridge for you. Additionally, you’ll need approximately 5 minutes to answer just a few questions below, and:

• A copy of your high school transcript that includes all courses and grades from 9th through the end of 11th grade (screenshots or pictures of your transcript are accepted)
• An essay that you wrote for an English or social science class during the 2024-2025 academic school year. If you do not have an essay that meets our requirements, you may respond to the prompt included in the application below.
